Nomination Process: an educator can be nominated by students, parents, educators or other members of the community. The nominee must be a staff member employed by the Snoqualmie Valley School District in at least their third year with the district. Candidates are educators who inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn, have the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues, lead by example and play an active and useful role in the scholastic environment. Please include 2 letters of support, one by a student and the second from a colleague (but not a supervisor), parent, community member or other knowing individuals. The nomination narrative may be used as one of the letters of support. Support from a variety of sources provides the selection committee with a broad picture of the candidate! 

An independent selection committee comprised of community leaders will review applications. Winners will be notified by the first week of March and honored at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation’s annual spring luncheon.
